We all become our waste – even mermaids can’t swim with plastic tail / creative project -2024

Not even mermaids can swim once they’ve become plastic – 2024
Project was executed by collecting plastic waste (bottles, packing material, cups…) and making a mermaid tail out of the material collected. The project projects the issue we have with rising amount of pollution in our oceans, specifically plastic. Like other sea creatures – mermaids live from the ocean, that is currently being filled with plastics in different forms 19-23 million tons per year. And when your habitat and food is being filled with plastic… plastic starts to be found in you. In the end of the day our oceans health is our health.

Adopt a coastline, Antigua & Barbuda 2024 / 2025

Keeping Antigua Nice, Beach clean up initiatives and campaigns – 2024 & 2025
Adopt a coastline is a Antiguan NGO that thrives to educate about ocean pollution. They raise funds primarily through a circular economy gift shop in town.
They have strong campaigns that advocate working as a team towards a common goal, and keeping the environment clean and recycling what we can. Part of their raised funds go towards hiring beach stewardesses, young Antiguan students giving them a source of small income, responsibility and purpose.
